Dagpolymer launched a plant for the production of recycled granules and PE films

Company “Dagpolymer” (Kaspiysk, Dagestan) June 28 launched a plant for the production of secondary granulate and plastic film at the investment site “Uytash” located in the territory of advanced social and economic development (PSEDA) Kaspiysk, according to a press release from PSEDA. It is noted that the project was 100% implemented at the expense of the company’s own funds.

The enterprise plans to produce more than 0.5 thousand films and 3.6 thousand tons of polyethylene granules per year. Investments in the project amounted to RUB 36.31 million. Creation of 21 jobs is expected.

The Dagpolymer project for the implementation of the production and processing of polyethylene was first announced in November 2018, and in 2019 the project was approved by the Council under the Head of Dagestan to improve the investment climate in the republic and construction began (see. After the official launch of the new plant, the managers inspected its production lines and got acquainted with the film and plastic pellets produced from plastic waste. The volume of tax payments to local budgets from new production is estimated at 1.1 million rubles. in year.

In total, 6 investment projects are already being implemented on the territory of the Uytash investment site, of which 4 projects received land plots through the “no bidding” mechanism. The total number of jobs created for all projects will amount to 1,411 employees, and the investment volume will amount to RUB 2.07 billion.

For the development of “Uytash”, storm sewer and road routes were developed. Relevant appeals and preliminary applications for the construction of these facilities were sent to the Monocities Development Fund.

The Monocities Development Fund allocated about 550 million rubles in 2017-2018, which were allocated for the construction of a gas pipeline, sewerage and water supply networks, two power plants, as well as for building a road to an industrial park. All objects were put into operation, they are also associated with two anchor investment projects – JSC “Plant im. Hajiyeva ”and LLC“ Plant of Building Materials ”.
